Adventure Update
Registration for The Fantastic Human Voyage Adventure has closed with over 3100 participants signed up for the 10-week program! This is the largest number of participants to date and we are very excited to start this journey through the human body. The program starts March 25. You can start logging your Adventure workout activities on the Good For You! website starting that day. Those who complete the Adventure are eligible for a reward of up to $75!
Renewals
SchoolCare has received confirmation from 100% of its member groups renewing their participating in the program for the 2013 – 2014 plan year. We are delighted to have everyone on board again, and will be welcoming new groups for July 1.
Smart Phone App
Cigna has released a free smart phone app for the MyCigna program! Download the app from the App Store and start using this convenient and helpful tool to track your claims, find a network provider, order medications etc. Just search for My Cigna on the App Store.
Training Programs
SchoolCare is presenting a number of workshops and information programs for members and administrators. Take a look at the options on the right side of the page and call to register.
Dental Update: Several groups have seen the value in SchoolCare’s dental benefit plans and have made the switch. We are excited to report a 70% increase in the dental program over 2012! In the meantime, Cigna has worked hard to increase their network in our region and continue to add new points of access now up to 422, an increase of 10% in the last six months alone.
In Network Labs
We all need lab work done at some point in time. Our doctors will use labs to test for various conditions and to monitor them. To ensure it is covered, and to save you money, be sure the lab facility that is used is in the Cigna network. You can check online at cigna.com or call the number on your SchoolCare /Cigna ID card. Even some lab facilities housed within network hospitals are not in the Cigna network, and you could be charged for the services. Request that your doctor use a Cigna network lab. If you use a national lab such as Quest Diagnostics® or Laboratory Corporation of America® (LabCorp), you can get even bigger savings up to 75%!
