Please find a list of the most commonly asked questions regarding participation in the SchoolCare Good For You!  Well-Being Program.

How do I register for an account?
  • Visit myCigna.com.
  • Click “Register” in the Customer Login box
  • This will lead to a screen prompting you to "Activate your myCigna account"
  • Follow the prompts to complete activation
  • To verify your identity and complete registration, you will need to provide your Social Security Number OR Cigna ID number if you have it

Once your identity has been validated, you’ll be prompted to create a Username and Password.  Please be sure to record this information and store in a secure location for future access to myCigna.

What if I forgot my Username or Password?
  • Visit myCigna.com to reset your Username or Password
  • Click "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password"
  • Follow the prompts to reset your login information
  • If you're unable to reset yourself, please call Cigna technical assistance at 1-800-853-2713
Can I update my email address?
  • Visit myCigna.com 
    • Once logged in, click drop down arrow next to your name in the upper right corner and select Profile
    • Under Contacts and Communications, you can update your Email Address(es)
  • Also, email info@schoolcare.org to notify SchoolCare of the change
Who can participate in the Good For You! Program?

SchoolCare medical plan subscribers and covered spouses.

I'm a SchoolCare 65+ plan retiree, how do I participate?

SchoolCare 65+ plan retirees are no longer eligible to participate in the Good For You! Well-Being Program (as of January 1, 2023). If you are a retiree enrolled in the SchoolCare 65+ Advantage Plan, you have access to retiree-focused wellness options through your UnitedHealthcare (UHC) benefits. For more information on those, please refer to the plan guide that you received in the mail from UHC, or visit the Coverage and Benefits tab on the UHC/SchoolCare 65+ website at retiree.uhc.com/schoolcare/coverage-and-benefits.

How do I navigate the Wellness pages on myCigna to earn incentives?
  • Log into your myCigna.com account and access your Good For You! incentives by clicking "Wellness & Incentives” under the “Wellness” tab 
  • Upon first visit to the well-being program you will need to complete user agreements and set up a one-time login
  • You MUST complete the annual confidential health assessment before you can earn incentives for other goals
  • Find a list of all activities that offer incentives by clicking “Rewards” under the “Home” menu in the Well-Being Experience
  • Complete any combination of activities between July 1 and June 30 to earn your incentives, up to $600 in Wellness Cash

NOTE: Cash incentives, payments and rewards paid to wellness program participants are taxable income. Please review with your tax consultant for more information.

How do I access my Wellness Cash?

Your Wellness Cash will be awarded upon completion of an activity or after your claim is processed. Your earnings will be deposited into a digital wallet within the well-being program at myCigna.com (incentives will no longer be issued by check). You can convert your Wellness Cash to a gift card to use at a retailer of your choice or turn it into a Visa gift card to use anywhere. You can also use it to shop in the Wellness Store within the well-being program or you can donate it to a charity.

To see your Reward Progress (how much you’ve earned for the year) and to spend your Wellness Cash:

  • Click on “Rewards” under the “Home” menu icon.
  • Click on the “Spend” tab under the “Build Your Path to Well-Being” text block
  • Choose how you would like to spend your accrued cash.

Your Wellness Cash accrues continuously as you participate in the well-being program. Funds in your digital wallet roll over from one year to the next.

Please note: You will have 30 days to spend any unspent Wellness Cash upon disenrolling from your SchoolCare/Cigna medical plan.

How do I complete the Health Assessment?
  • Log into your myCigna.com account and click on "Wellness & Incentives" under the "Wellness" menu
  • Click on the Health Assessment from your home screen in your Wellness portal or find it in the “Health” menu by clicking “Surveys"
  • Click “Next” to get started.

IMPORTANT: To receive cash incentives for participating in the well-being programs the Cigna Health Assessment must be completed annually on or after July 1. Upon completion incentives will become available. This means you must RETAKE the Assessment each plan year. 

How can I confirm I completed the Health Assessment?

In the Wellness portal, Click on the “Health” menu and click on “Surveys.”  If your health assessment completion date is after July 1, 2025, your health assessment is complete for this year. You can also look at your Reward Progress on the “Rewards” page under the “Home” menu. It will display if your health assessment has been completed.

If you believe you’ve completed your health assessment for the plan year and it is not showing as complete, contact Cigna at 800-244-6224 for assistance.

How do I connect my fitness tracker or an app to the well-being program?

Connecting your fitness tracker or an app, like myfitnesspal to track calorie consumption, to the well-being program portal is a seamless way to track your activity and earn Wellness Cash for things like tracking steps, active minutes, workouts and calorie consumption without having to login to the well-being program daily.

To get started tracking:

Log into your myCigna.com account
Click "Wellness & Incentives " under the “Wellness” menu
Click on “Devices & Apps” under the “More” menu and select the device/app you wish to connect.

How can I complete Biometrics?

Obtain your annual biometrics using one of the following options: 

  • Have your physician order labs at a Quest or Labcorp facility 
  • Complete and submit a Wellness Screening Form for biometrics completed at an alternate facility (submission details are printed are on the form)
  • Self-register for a biometric screening as part of your virtual Wellness Screening with MDLIVE (more information here)
Where do I find the Wellness Screening Form on myCigna.com?

If you complete your biometric screening at a lab other than Quest or Labcorp, you may need to have your provider complete the Wellness Screening Form for you to submit to earn your incentive.

  • Log into your myCigna.com account 
  • Scroll to the footer menu and click “Find a Form”
  • Scroll to “Wellness Screenings and Waivers”
  • Click on “Wellness Screening Form”
  • Print it and bring it with you to your appointment
How do I report completion of a Healthy Event?
  • Log into your myCigna.com account and access your Good For You! incentives by clicking the "Wellness" tab on the homepage
  • Click "Wellness & Incentives" under the “Wellness” menu
  • Once in the Well-Being Portal, click “Rewards” under the “Home” menu
  • Scroll down to Self-Report a Healthy event and click on it
  • Click the “Take Me There” button and fill out the self-attestation form with the date of your event and certify completion.
  • You can complete one self-reported event per quarter, below are some suggestions
    • Fitness classes (virtual and in-person)
    • Athletic events
    • Team sports
    • Monthly workouts
    • Mindfulness activities (meditation, therapy, journaling. etc)
    • Volunteering
    • Nutrition counseling
    • Weight management programs
    • Prenatal classes
    • CPR/AED training
    • Financial wellness classes
    • Professional development courses
    • Utilization of the Employee Assistance Program
How do I report Preventive Care?

Preventive care (with the exception of dental and eye exams) is claims-validated, meaning it is awarded after a claim has been processed and you don’t need to do anything extra for your incentive to be awarded. It can 4-6 weeks following the processing of these claims to show as completed.

To self-report a preventive dental or eye exam:

  • Login to your myCigna.com account
  • Click "Wellness & Incentives" under the “Wellness” menu
  • Once in the Well-Being Portal, click “Rewards” under the “Home” icon
  • Scroll down to Preventive Care activities and click on the exam you wish to report
  • In the window that pops up, click the “Take Me There” button and fill out the self-attestation form with the date of your exam and certify completion.
How can I participate with a Health Coach?

Telephonic Coaching:

Speak one-on-one with a health professional about setting and achieving your personal wellness goals. Simply call 800-244-6224 to get started. Click here to view the Telephonic Health Coaching flyer.

Digital Coaching:

Participate in Journeys within the well-being program. Journeys are self-guided courses that can help build healthy habits like sleeping well, reducing stress, quitting smoking, reducing alcohol consumption, getting active, eating well and more.

  • Log into your myCigna.com account
  • Click "Wellness & Incentives " under the “Wellness” menu
  • Select “Journeys” under the “Health” menu and select the program or programs you wish to complete based on your interests and goals
  • You can earn Wellness Cash for completing up to three Journeys per quarter, but you may complete as many as you wish throughout the year.
How do I create a Healthy Habits or Steps Challenge

Steps challenges and healthy habits challenges are a great way to increase your activity, motivate yourself to make a new healthy habit stick and engage in some friendly competition among your friends, family and peers. You can invite colleagues, family and friends who are SchoolCare participants as well as up to 10 family, friends and neighbors who are not participants for added engagement and accountability.

To start a challenge:

  • Login to your myCigna.com account
  • Click on “Wellness & Incentives” under the “Wellness” menu
  • Select “Challenges” under the “Social” menu
  • Select “Create”
  • For Personal Challenges, choose the duration of the challenge and click “Start”
  • For Healthy Habit Challenges, select the habit you want to work on, write a personal message and click “Start”
  • Next, invite others to join by clicking “Invite Players”
  • Add friends directly from your friends list that you’ve already establish, use the “Add Friends” button to search for other SchoolCare participants or use the “Invite Friends” button to add non-SchoolCare participant players
How do I invite non-SchoolCare/Cigna participants to use the well-being program and participate in Challenges?

You can invite up to 10 non-SchoolCare/Cigna participants to join you in using the well-being program and participate in Challenges for added motivation and social accountability. Once they accept and create an account, your invited friends will have access to most of the features within the platform, however they are not eligible to earn cash incentives.

You can invite friends while creating a challenge (see steps in the question above) or:

  • Login to your myCigna.com account
  • Click on “Wellness & Incentives” under the “Wellness” menu
  • Under the “Social” menu, click on “Friends”
  • In the box that says “Build Your Support Group” select the “Invite Friends”
  • Input their name and email address and click “Send Invite”
What is the Omada Health Program? How do I access it?

Omada is a lifestyle change program for those needing to lose weight and at risk of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol.  You can take a short assessment to determine eligibility for the program at go.omadahealth.com/schoolcare.

Who can work with a Case Manager? How do I get started?

Case Management is available for those who need additional help navigating a challenging health condition, coordinating care and treatment options. A Case Manager may contact you directly to determine if you qualify or you may call Cigna at 800-244-6224 to inquire.

How do I get started with the Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies program?

Enroll in the first trimester and complete the program to earn $250 or enroll in the second trimester to earn $125. Call Cigna at 800-244-6224 to get started once you have confirmed your pregnancy.

Who do I contact for additional questions or assistance?

For information about the SchoolCare’s Good For You! Well-Being Program, Cigna Customer Service is available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week at 800-244-6224.

There is also a very helpful FAQs section in within the wellness program portal. When you are logged into your Wellness Portal, click on Support in the upper right corner and then click on "Visit our FAQ Support Page" in the window that pops up.

For technical assistance such as registering for an account, Cigna Technical Assistance is available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week at 800-853-2713.
