Build Your Path to Well-Being

Step 1: Complete Your Health Assessment

To receive your cash incentives for participating in the wellness program you must complete the annual Health Assessment in the HealthyLife® Wellness Portal. Your health assessment is a quick way to get a snapshot of your health and your results are confidential. Upon completion, you will be able to begin earning your incentives.

  • The health assessment is found in the Wellness Portal by logging into your HealthyLife account*.
  • When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to complete your health assessment.
  • If you do not complete it upon login, it is linked under Step 1 on the Wellness Portal Home Page, or under the Participate menu.

Step 2: Participate in Activities to Improve Health, Earn Wellness Cash

Biometrics

Biometric screenings are short health exams that include bloodwork, blood pressure and body measurements, which is key data to reduce health risks and improve overall well-being. Complete a biometric screening annually between July 1 and June 30. Download the Biometrics Screening form to take to your lab appointment and have your provider complete it, then upload it in your Wellness Portal.

Preventive Care

Reinforce good health and avoid more serious health problems.

Taking a proactive approach to your health with regular preventive care exams, screenings, and vaccines can help catch problems before they start, and even save lives. Earn incentives for your annual physical or well woman exam; screenings for breast, cervical, colon and prostate cancer (as recommended by your provider); your annual flu vaccine; an annual eye exam and an annual dental exam. Download the Preventive Exam form to take to your exam, screening or vaccine appointment and have your provider complete it, then upload it in your Wellness Portal.

Self-Reported Healthy Events

If you participated in a health and wellness event you can get rewarded for reporting it in your Wellness Portal. Eligible events include fitness activities, CPR and first aid courses, meditation, journaling, volunteering and more!

Wellness Activities

The Good For You! Well-Being Program experiences provides numerous additional pathways for engaging in your health and wellness while earning cash incentives along the way.

  • Connect your fitness wearable in the MyWell App on your phone to track things like steps, exercise, active minutes and sleep.
  • Participate in quarterly workshops found within the Wellness Portal or submit a testimonial.
  • Earn incentives for certifying you are nicotine free, setting a wellness goal for the year, tracking fruit and vegetable consumption or logging mindful moments in the Wellness Portal and more!

HealthyLife® Thrive Program

Ready to reframe your thoughts and boost your emotional well-being? The HealthyLife Thrive Program provides five self-guided courses to help you feel more capable and confident in your relationship with yourself and others. Get started by logging in to the Wellness Portal and selecting HealthyLife Thrive from the Participate menu.


HealthyLife Learn

Your health goals start with a single step. HealthyLife Learn is your digital coaching program where you can build healthy habits through a self-guided courses in 30 topic areas. Trying to eat healthier, get more sleep, reduce stress, improve your finances? These courses provide easy-to-follow plans and tips to help you achieve your goals and turn them a new habit.


Buddy Challenges

Staying healthy and increasing your daily activity is more fun with friends! Motivate yourself and others by participating in challenges aimed at increasing your daily steps, participating in exercise-based activities, focusing on drinking more water, eating healthier and more! Create buddy challenges and invite your friends and family to participate for some added social accountability and friendly competition.


Step 3: Get Rewarded for Investing in Your Health

All SchoolCare/Harvard Pilgrim subscribers and covered spouses who engage in the well-being program will receive cash incentives on a quarterly basis from your employer up to $600 each per year.

Should you terminate coverage mid-year, any incentives you’ve earned that haven’t been distributed by the time of your disenrollment in a Harvard Pilgrim health plan will still be awarded to you at the end of the quarter.
