Maintain Your Dental Health and Save With Cigna’s Oral Health Integration Program

Published November 11, 2021

A significant factor that impacts overall health is keeping your dental health in check. But if you live with certain medical conditions that pose a higher risk for conditions like gum disease and tooth decay, it can not only impact your health, but also get costly to keep up with additional services.

Cigna’s Dental Oral Health Integration Program can help keep you healthy and save you money.

What is the Oral Health Integration Program?

The Oral Health Integration Program provides additional benefits, like extra cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants for people with certain medical conditions that increase risk of oral health issues. The program reimburses out-of-pocket costs for preventive dental treatments to help keep you healthy. It also provides discounts on prescription dental products and provides education about behaviors that can impact oral health.

Who Is Eligible for This Program?

The Oral Health Integration Program is available to all SchoolCare participants with Cigna dental insurance. You do not have to be enrolled in a Cigna medical plan to qualify. *

There’s no additional cost to you for the Oral Health Integration Program, but there are qualifying factors for reimbursement. You must be treated by a doctor for at least one of more than a dozen medical conditions including: diabetes, stroke, maternity, Parkinson’s disease, opioid misuse and more.
