Make mindfulness a daily practice with a variety of self-guided resources and tools

  • The Changing Lives by Integrating Mind and Body® (CLIMB) program offers free podcasts that help incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. More here.
  • Check out the final session for Cigna’s 2021 Behavioral Health Education Series on “Mindfulness for Life” on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m.
  • Download the Happify app for “science-based activities and games designed to help you overcome negative thoughts, stress, and life's challenges.”

Employee Assistance Programs can provide self-guided help and/or in-person support

Take advantage of SchoolCare members Employee Assistance Programs. Watch seminars on topics of interest or talk to a live person about a subject that is creating stress or affecting your mental health. Your EAP benefits includes 1-3 sessions per issue with a counselor on number of work/life/health-related topics.

If you feel like there is no better substitute to meeting with a counselor in-person, login to your myCigna account and click the “Find Care and Costs” menu item to find a provider in your area who is accepting new patients.
